BBE Music’s Mr Thing, WhoSampled‘s Chris Read and our Head of Production Arun Sethi hosted a guest show on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM, taking us through a range of classic library music and the tracks that have sampled it. The show focused on BBE’s compilation The Library Archive, a selection of some of the best and rarest tracks from our archive, compiled by Chris and Mr. Thing. The show also included winning tracks from our Samplethon event with WhoSampled, highlights from the Cavendish-sampling Soundsci LP My Boosey Weighs A Ton, and tracks by the likes of Roots Manuva and Mark B & Blade, which also sample Cavendish Archive tracks.
